Principal's Welcome

    We greatly welcome your interest in BIS   whether as a prospective parent, student, teacher or other supporter. The education in an International School with a community of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds should provide and promote understanding and appreciation of all creeds and cultures. As for Afghan Turk International School we believe in the dignity and worth of all the segments of our school and recognize the importance of our mutual responsibilities to each-other and to others in the world community.

Nursery(4 Age)

Kids start recognizing numbers and letters and try to relate objects  with the letters. They have spoken English classes.

KG 1 (5 Age)

They start writing by themselves and of the session they read three letter words. Also they have English spoken class. They start basic sum  with audio.

KG 2 (6 Age)

They can write and read. KG 2 classroom help to strengthen the children’s oral skills, especially public speaking skills and children feel comfortable with talking in front of a group of peers.

 

Cambridge Primary Class 1 to 6

                 Students develop skills  and understanding in English, maths and  science. Progression tests help teachers check their  progress. By placing children at the center of the learning experience we encourage them to investigate, discover and to learn how to harness  their abundant natural curiosity. There is a strong emphasis for them  to learn to work independently, and in groups whilst making use of the latest ICT tools available.

 

 

Cambridge Secondary 1

Students develop  further their skills and understanding in English, maths and science. Progression tests help teachers

check their progress.

Cambridge Secondary 2

Students follow Cambridge IGCSE  courses, leading to globally recognized qualifications. They build a broad learning programme  from a wide range of subjects.

Cambridge Advanced

At this stage, students develop the deep understanding and thinking skills they need for university. They work towards

Cambridge International AS & A Level qualifications – giving them the choice to specialize, or study from a range of

50 diverse subjects.
